Use the Outlook Add-in to quickly access and update information requests on your account from Outlook.

Occasionally, you may need to upload information received by email to an information request.

When you receive an email from a client, selecting the Glasscubes Add-in for Outlook will automatically load any information requests you have associated with that client. You can attach the email and any attachments directly to the Information Request line items, saving you time and effort. You can also reply directly in the add-In from the Glasscubes platform to keep all conversations and items in one place for team visibility.

The steps to install the Outlook Add-in are slightly different depending on whether you are using Outlook or Outlook new.

Install the Outlook Add-in (Outlook new)

The Glasscubes Outlook Add-in is available to download from the Microsoft store.

Select the ‘More apps’ icon and click ‘Add apps’.

Search for and select Glasscubes.

Click 'Add'.

Once installed, select Glasscubes again.

Click ‘Open’.

You should see the ‘Start using Glasscubes!’ screen. Select ‘Got it’ and return to your Inbox.

If you do not see this screen, please restart Outlook to complete the installation.

From your inbox, select an email and click on the 3 dots to the right (More actions). Select 'Apps' and click 'Glasscubes'.

Sign in with your Glasscubes login details.

Install the Outlook Add-in

The Glasscubes Outlook Add-in is available to download from the Microsoft store.

Open Outlook and click ‘File’.

Click ‘Manage Add-ins’.

The following window will open in your web browser. Please note that this may take a couple of seconds. From the top right search bar, search for and select Glasscubes.

Click ‘Add’.

Once the add-in is installed, the ‘Get started for Glasscubes’ window will appear. Click ‘X’.

Return to Outlook, select ‘Home’ and then click ‘Glasscubes’ on the right.

Sign in with your Glasscubes login details.

Update information requests from Outlook

Select the client email you wish to add to an information request. Then select ‘Home’ and click ‘Glasscubes’ on the right.

NOTE: If you use Outlook (New), select the client email you wish to add to an information request and click on the three dots to the right (More actions). Then select 'Apps' and click Glasscubes.

Any information requests you have sent to that client will now be displayed on the right in the order of the date they were sent.

Select the Information request you wish to update. All line items in the information request will be displayed with the below options.

  • Attach Email to attach the email and any attachments to the information request.

  • Attach Email & Reply to add a query to the information request when attaching the email.

Just add your query and click ‘Send Query’.

  • Click 'Open' to open the information request line item quickly.

Select the required option to update the information request from Outlook.
