Creating and editing the workspace welcome header on the 'About' page

Introduce your workspace and make a great first impression

Updated today

The 'About' page on a workspace gives you the opportunity to create a header section to introduce your workspace using an image, personal greeting, hyperlinks and any instructions that you want to communicate to the members.

You will need to be a Workspace Owner or Administrator to create and edit a workspace header.

If this feature is not already enabled in the workspace, simply navigate to the workspace 'Options' dropdown, select 'Features' and select 'About'.

Click the 'Create workspace header' button.

Add your title and description, then click the 'Upload image' button. The optimal size for a graphic to be used as a workspace header is less that 1MB.

Drag the area of the image that you want to use into the clear panel. You can zoom into the image using the scroll on your mouse. When you're happy with your selection, click 'Crop'.

Adding links to your workspace header makes navigating to regularly accessed pieces of content much quicker. Alternatively you may want to link to external websites or an online resource.

To add a link give it a title and add its URL. You can add as many links as required and their order can be organised by dragging and dropping them in the list.ย

Your header will automatically be allocated a background colour but you can choose your own font and background colour if you prefer. Finally click 'Save' to create your header.

Editing a workspace header
