How to add your HMRC Agent Account for MTD clients

A short guide on adding your registered HMRC Agent Account for MTD clients requiring internal review.

If you’ve chosen to review your clients’ MTD submissions before they’re sent to HMRC, you’ll need to select your Agent Account. This guide explains how to add your agent account(s) to Glasscubes.

Note: Only administrators can complete this step.

Click your name in the top-right corner of the screen and select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.

Select Advanced options, then click Manage MTD Agents.

Click Add Agent.

Enter your agent name and ARN (Agent Reference Number), and click Authenticate via HMRC. You can add multiple ARNs to use within your account.

When setting up your client’s MTD Assist account and choosing Internal Review Required, an additional option will appear: Select HMRC Registered Agent. Click Choose One to view a list of your registered agent accounts, then select the appropriate account and continue with the setup.
