Receiving and responding to an information request

An organised and secure method of supplying your information

Updated over a week ago

The recipient of an information request will be notified by email, which will contain a secure link to access the request.

If they are a member of your account they will also receive an alert in their in-app notification center and an alert in their 'My Stuff' action list, which will serve as a constant reminder, until the request has been completed.

The 'Click to respond' link found under each line item in the request opens a panel for the recipient to add their response.

The recipient can also ask questions by messaging the person requesting the information using the private messenger located at the bottom right of the request.

The recipient has the convenience of being able to delegate items, so that somebody else can respond on their behalf.

A response can be written, have files uploaded, or be a combination of both. Unlike email, there is no limit to the size or quantity of files that can be sent. After clicking the 'Submit' button, that item's response is available to the person that sent the request and it is marked with a green tick to show that the response is complete.

After selecting the 'Submit' button an item's response can be edited by clicking the 'Edit response' button.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For each item that is requested the recipient must give a response. After every item is submitted and marked with a green tick, selecting the 'Submit request' completes the request and a notification is sent to the person that sent the request.

To add more information before completing the request, select 'Add more' to return to the request.

Once all items have been completed, select 'Complete request'.
